You have what you need. It’s so easy to forget this. We look outside ourselves for more, not realising that whatever we find will leave us dissatisfied and unfulfilled. Identify your gifts. What is it that you know, do, create, and play well with, that has become such a part of you that you take it for granted? Your normal is recognised by someone else as extraordinary. Stop looking for it outside of yourself.
What will your day bring your way? Take stock. Do an inventory of you. Look back at the skills and talents of your working life and take note of those things that you really enjoyed and that made a difference to you. Then, look back even further. What can you find in your adolescence and childhood that you loved to do? What pulls at your heartstrings? What calls to your consciousness? Do more of that. When we embrace what we truly love, we are fulfilled.
