Emotions can stymie us. It’s quite easy to allow external forces to move us through our emotions. When we look at the world before us, it’s easy to feel sad, angry, and disappointed. I could say it’s just as easy to choose gladness, joy, and hope. Instead, I am going to suggest that you move into simply being an observer. In this way, you can see more clearly the personalities at play, the consequences of knee-jerk reactions and wise decision making, and you can allow it to inform and educate you as you go forward.
What will your day bring your way? Be an observer. Be a witness. Allow your feelings, emotions, and thoughts to come and go like clouds on a windy day. You need attach to nothing. Allow objective viewing to become your friend. It is a resourceful way forward.
